Аннотация:

Статья посвящена теории культурной травмы, развернутой Джеффри Александером в рамках «сильной программы» культурсоциологии. Эта теория служит прояснению той беспрецедентно важной роли, какую играет травма в процессе формирования коллективных идентичностей в современных западных обществах. Центральный тезис теории состоит в изобличении «ошибки натурализма», то есть видения, не проводящего границы между объективным событием-первопричиной и травмой как фактом коллективного восприятия. Социологически корректный анализ коллективной травмы, в версии Александера, направлен на объяснение символических механизмов, стоящих за конструкцией травмы, и подразумевает широкое подключение таких понятий, как код, господствующий нарратив, драма, ритуал и др. Объяснительная сила теории проиллюстрирована на целом ряде исторических примеров.
